Baby Jake

Last weekend I did a newborn shoot with little Jake who was 2 weeks old. This little boy was very alert and didnt want to sleep for us, he would doze off every now and then, so we had to work fast while he was snoozing, I love this one!

I have designed a few story board canvases for my sister to choose to go into my little nieces new bedroom, in preparation for the new baby!

Day at the Beach

What a beautiful day it was on Saturday. It was a perfect day to spend time with the family at my sisters house, which happens to be walking distance to Cottosloe Beach. We had a bbq lunch and then we strolled down to the beach. My daughter Shamiah (13) had a beach assignment to complete so she had my spare camera and was taking her own photos.... this is one of hers which I absouletly love!!! I think I will have to get this one done on Canvas:-) I was taking a few shots of my own....this is my sister and her little girl.

As you can see my sister is very pregnant... I will be doing pregnancy shots of her in a few weeks, we dont want to wait too long as we missed doing her last pregnancy as baby came 7weeks premature.

"Patches"

In loving memories of our cute little bunny "Patches". It's so heart breaking when a family pet passes away, the kids get so attached to them. We had Patches for 4 years and he really was apart of the family. He had alot of personality and he loved cuddles, he lived with the chickens and sometimes I think he thought he was a chicken. We will miss him very much.

East Coast...Singapore

I thought this was very funny... apparently the owners of the restaurant didn't want a signboard but by law they had to have one....so it's the "No Signboard" restaurant.. haha. We had dinner down at the east coast... the best chilli crabs I have ever had.... in fact the only chilli crabs I have ever had:) the kids enjoyed our photo shoot today because they just played in the water and built sand castles and I mainly did candid shots.... much to their happiness and mine!

I love this shot... it has a very old world feel to it. The ships in the background give it a feeling of how it may have been in war time. Although if you have ever been to Singapore this is what it is like all the time... we counted over 100 ships just waiting to go into the harbour. It was really quite an amazing feeling watching the ships on the water and then to look up and see so many Jumbo's flying in low to land. It was pretty awsome!
